Subscribing to feeds (RSS/Atom)

To subscribe to a feed, go to Manage subscriptions and use the Add subscription button on the top right. Then select RSS feed.

Enter URL

Lighthouse checks the entered URL. If it points to a valid RSS feed, the feed is used and will automatically prefill the name.

If it doesn't point to a valid RSS feed, Lighthouse will try to find it. First RSS autodiscovery is tried. If that fails, advanced methods of finding RSS feeds are used.

If multiple feeds are founds, they are displayed with tabs. Selecting a tab shows the feed's title and URL.

Tagging subscriptions

When tags are applied to a subscription, every item coming from that subscription will get the same tags.

Subscribing

After subscribing to a feed, the five most recent items are added to the inbox. The subscription will also show up in the subscription list.
